How to Self-Publish a Book on Amazon KDP

Amazon KDP is still the default front door for most self-published books. The upload itself is short. The work that makes a listing sell is the manuscript, the cover, the description, and the categories you choose before you click publish.

Finish the book first. Lock the text, run a proofread, and decide trim size if you want print. A paperback and a Kindle file are two products that should share one title, one author name, and one promise to the reader.
